Most of the courses in Singapore are private clubs for members and here guests to enjoy; only a hand full of courses are open to the public. In addition, most courses in Singapore require golfers to have handicap card.
Most of the golf courses in Singapore maintain a strict dress code that requires collared shirts with trousers or short pants as well as golf shoes. Inside the golf courses, caddies and golf carts are usually available. Many of the courses have clubhouses and restaurants, as well as full service locker rooms.
The Marina Bay Golf Course is the only 18-hole golf course in Singapore open to the public. It is unique in that it is one of the few links-styled courses in Asia. It has great variety in the length of holes and pot bunkers of different depths and sizes. The course is a par 72 and a handicap card is required in order to play. Night golf is available certain nights of the week on this course.
